Ayrin's learning frenzy

Over the past few weeks we have learnt about prime numbers and common factors. Prime numbers are numbers that can only be multiplied once. There is only one prime number that is even and that number is two, the rest of the prime numbers are odd. Common factors they are multiples that are common throughout those two multiples. There are also lowest common multiples and highest common multiples. Lowest common multiples are if you have two numbers you have to write down the first two multiples that appear in both sets of numbers. Last week we learnt were to put commas. If you had a Awubis word you would but the comma by  the bit that you think is extra information.  In maths we have also learnt BEDMAS it stands for brackets, exponents, division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction. Last week was the best week ever because we had lots of things to do like swimming sports and the last of our tests. Swimming sports was the best thing ever because it wasn't a competition it was just fun like there was a running race and a doggy paddle race and all sorts. We had our other softball competition and we won against room 16. Last week it was also boating and it is when you get into the water and learn about how to survive. Last week we also learnt what an independent clause was and a dependent clause a independent clause is where it is a complete sentence and a dependant clause is where it is not a sentence. At the swimming sports there were the championship races and the non champ races in the champ races Te Wihi broke three records for the breaststroke,freestyle and the butterfly.
